Adam + Courtney, Destin Bay House, Florida Wedding

Let me start this by saying; one of the most incredible responsibilities I have ever had as a photographer is being asked to photograph someone's wedding. BUT when that Bride + Groom are personal friends, that responsibility grows into one of the most amazing tasks and experiences I could ever be trusted with. I am pretty stinking honored to be 'the chosen one' anytime a couple picks us but when I know how much they REALLY DO when they say I DO, because I've seen their love first hand.. its freakin spectacular. And when I say 'freakin spectacular' I mean, I cried when they asked me, cried when they did their 'anti-first look', cried when they said I do... I pretty much cried the entire day.

Some of you may or may not know, but my ridiculously talented husband was a DJ at Club La Vela for an entire decade (plus some), and that's even where we met!!! Back then people used to say 'good things don't come from the club' or that they wouldn't last if they did... But after five years of love, Adam and Courtney are also proof to the contrary.

I've made some pretty awesome friends because of that place we all used to call home, Adam being one of those..  and because of that, I was fortunate enough to have a front row seat to watch their love story unfold. I saw them turn from budding lovebirds to full on real relationshippers, all the way to Mr + Mrs.

Adam has loved this little Ohio lady for quite some time now... and how can you blame him?? She is drop dead gorgeous!!! Which is partially why I was supa-dupa stoked when they asked me to be a part of their wedding day!!!! Not only was it going to be the sweetest watching two close friends of mine make it official but Adam and Courtney were going to look so damn good doing it.

From the bridal-party to almost every guest in attendance; we basically knew everyone, and if we didn't, by the end of the day, we did. Doing my favorite thing, for some of my favorite people while being surrounded by more of my favorite people.. Let's just say it was literally "The Best Day Ever".

We know Courtney doesn't have tear ducts, but she didn't need them... Adam and I cried enough for everyone!!! 😭  I could go on and on about how insanely happy I am for these two, how incredibly thankful I am for them, how deeply touched I am to have been trusted with such a task and just all that crappy sappy mess, but I'll just leave you with this; Happy Mawwage You Two!!!
