Nikki + Terry, Destin Bay House, Destin Florida Wedding

Ok so the Destin Bay House is already one of my FAVORITE venues ever. First, its beautiful.. the giant oaks, being on the water, a clean classic vibe with lots of greenery.. its perfect for ANY wedding. Second, Erin… the Owner/Coordinator.. She is amazing. Like, I love her. And every time I see her, I love her more. And three, ITS ALL IN ONE!!! Getting ready alllll the way to the exit.. its all done at the same place. Super convenient, and simple. So nice.

But literally, I always seem to have the most gorgeous couples every time I am there… like Nikki + Terry definitely didn't disappoint!!

They met in March of 2014, at Shades on 30a. Nikki said “Terry stalked me the whole entire day/night and was sending me drinks all day/night (but I had no interest in meeting the dude who was sending me drink-opps!) and then finally at the end of the night he came up to me and said I was his future wife and that he needed just 1 date with me to prove it.” After talking on the phone and texts for about a month, she finally agreed to go on that date with him and guess what!? HE WAS RIGHT!! They’ve been together ever since!

They chose their date,10-21-18 so it could all happen on a Sunday, basically because of football season- cant be on a Saturday according to Terry, lol! But they knew they wanted October because its literally perfect in Florida that time of year!

After such an incredible day, I asked her why they chose me to be there for it all “we chose you because not only did I love every photo I saw on your website but your personality rocks! ☺️ and right away I knew you'd make the day go by smooth and you did just that!” 😭🙏❤️

But honestly, I think the day was destined for greatness, with a crew as pretty as this one, a venue to die for, a bride and groom who killed it at every angle… it couldn’t have gone wrong!! Nikki said though, if she had any advice for other couples getting married? “...don’t give up when times get hard. oldest in the book i know but so true!!”

And she’s totally right!! Damn it! This was one pretty day!! Setting the bar just right for the rest of their lives!!
