After meeting this gorgeous girl and her sweet mama for chips and salsa at our local Mexican restaurant here in Bonifay, lol, I knew we were going to get along just fine.

and that we did!!

SarahEmily + Cody have been together 5 years! They knew each other growing up because they went to the same church, but he is 5 years older than her so their paths didn’t cross until SarahEmily was out of high school. “I always had my eye on him and he says the same! Never thought we would be together, but we are and it’s the best feeling ever!” - SarahEmily

She told me they chose October 13th because that’s what the venue had available, haha!! But little did they know that would be just 3 days after the rampage of Hurricane Michael… and Cody being a lineman, and from a family of linemen, it hit close to home!

Luckily, they were able to escape the chaos for a little while.. Spicer Farms in Andalusia Alabama was the perfect place for this jaw dropping bride to marry her man. “My favorite part was our first look! Can’t describe the feeling! Also, of course getting MARRIED, and the reception! Soooo, basically everything!” - SarahEmily

She looked every bit of perfect too. Like if you look up the definition of Southern Belle Bride, I am pretty sure her finnnneee behind will be in the picture beside it!!! Cody wasn’t looking too bad himself either!! These two, their picturesque venue, every single one of the awesome friends and family in attendance, the food, the flowers, literally. every. single. detail. was. ON. POINT!

Sweet Crumbs made her cake, her amazing friends from work helped with her hair, Brooke Martin and Jessica Wood, Kayli Dillard at Competitive Image was the makeup artist, and the florist/wedding planner was Blaire Morris.. but they chose me “because you’re absolutely AMAZING! No one tops you! Wouldn’t have wanted anyone else as our photographer/friend!” 

Tears.

SarahEmily’s Advice: “Enjoy every little moment and thing about preparing for your wedding and especially the day of because it goes by in the blink of an eye! SERIOUSLY! Soak up every moment! I look back and wish I wouldn’t have stressed about stupid little things! It’s the best day of your life so ENJOY!”
