“A day full of anticipation, emotion and relief! After our original date and venue was destroyed by Hurricane Michael we thought this day would never happen. We almost became defeated thinking our wedding day would never happen. We would never stand toe to toe and say the words, “I do” in front of our family and friends. But we “did”! There were many months of planning, stressful phone calls, and hopes to find venders who were still operating after the storm.
Everything ended up working out perfectly! The girls started their day with champagne and laughs, while having their hair and make-up done. The guys all got together early afternoon, sipped some bourbon and recapped on old times. The minutes were counting down until we would walk up the isle as man and wife, the wait was almost over. We took our positions and then had to HOLD! We thought oh no, not again! Somehow our rings went missing, what are the odds! Lol, the situation was quickly resolved when the person holding the rings realized they had them, this person will remain nameless!!!! After our frantic pause the ceremony continued. My father-in-law with his sense of humor gave away the most beautiful bride a man could ask for, she is beautiful in so many ways! At that moment I had a smile from ear to ear and was ready to tell this woman I do, I do, I do. After the ceremony the night seemed to fly by! We danced, laughed, listened to great speeches and felt blessed from all the support we received from our family and friends.
Thankfully we had Kiersten Stevenson there to capture all of our moments. Her and her husband worked together during our wedding with outstanding chemistry. They both have a great way of pulling people out of their shells to capture an memorable photo! Kiersten worked her magic with the lady’s while they got ready and Mike blended right in with the men in the Grooms quarters while the men got dressed. They made us feel completely comfortable and at times you didn’t notice they were there. Kiersten has a true vision for capturing a shot that will be cherished for a lifetime. We would recommend them to be at the top of anyone’s photographer list who’s getting married in the Panama City area! ”
