Emma + Michael, Panama City Beach Florida Elopement

Simple and sweet! 

Emma and Michael met in college at the University of Louisville, he was actually her tutor (Shhhh!) From every weekend to every day, these two quickly knew they would be walking the aisle in no time! The couple said I-DO 700 miles away from their own city in beautiful Panama City Beach, FL. Emma said "Doing a very small wedding on a beach 700 miles from our city was DEFINITELY the way to go. Michael and I did not want the stress that comes with planning a big wedding, so opting for a small and simple ceremony was perfect for us. We had very minimal decorations, invitations, no bridal party, etc. So planning was very simple. Besides, who needs all the decorations when you have the ocean!"

I asked her why she chose this gorgeous destination as her place to wed her babe and Emma told me "Simplicity and beauty. We had never been to Seacrest beach before but had heard wonderful things from many people. After some research we deciding it was within a reasonable driving distance for some our family but was warm enough to accommodate an October wedding. Boy, did we hit the jackpot! The white sand beaches with the crystal clear water and gorgeous sunset simply could not have been any better. "

Emma actually found her dream gown that she spotted on Pinterest a few months earlier on Amazon for only $80!!!!! And with an even more perfect 2-day shipping, and she could not have made a better choice! A simply gorgeous up-do + flawless makeup by Kaitlyn Brown paired with her flowy dress, it was a match made in heaven for this beach babe bride. 

Michael, with his all-time favorite button down from Mizzen and Maine and every beard hair in place looked quite dashing awaiting his bride! He could hardly wait as she made her way down the sandy aisle.

The pair wrote their own vows as Emma’s brother officiated making for an even more touching ceremony! I cried, she cried, he cried, literally, every one cried.  

These two had an intimate pool-side reception with close friends and family full of AMMAZZZING food from Finn's Island Style Grub!!

Of course you know, I had to ask her.. Why Me? and guess what this super sweet girl said!!! "We found Kiersten on theknot.com or weddingwire.com (I cannot remember which) and fell in love with her photos. I loved the way most of her photos looked candid and 'in the moment'. Each photo I looked at was edited to perfection! I also really appreciated that Kiersten was so easy to get ahold of! She was also very quick to respond. When I inquired about pricing she replied quickly and thoroughly, actually giving a whole guide on who she recommends for other wedding vendors. I really felt like she would go above and beyond for my wedding! Kiersten was great! She totally matched the pace of my wedding (It was very relaxed and fun) and fit right in with my guests! She somehow managed to be a part of the wedding, but was simultaneous inconspicuous enough to catch some sweet moments! She was fun and easy to talk to and definitely accommodated all my wants/needs! ” Cue the waterworks... ugh. 😭❤️

So for all you future beach babe brides, take note cuz Emma says "Don't worry about the small stuff. For me, it was wonderful never having a 'just want this to be done' attitude because I feel like it made me enjoy the day that much more! I didn't spend the day stressing about if the centerpieces were just so, or the lanterns around the pool were perfectly set. Because of that, the entire day was so enjoyable, peaceful and full of love!"
