Jillian + Adam, Lee House, Pensacola Beach Florida Wedding

From the Bride :

"One of the first things you do when planning your wedding is find the perfect photographer. Kiersten was that for My husband and I. We chose her because I wanted to have the best. The weddings I looked through, the engagement pictures, family pictures, I combed through it all and everything I fell in love with was always shot by her. It was a no-brainer decision. We had the best experience and couldn’t have asked anything better. Even though a Category 2 Hurricane came through on our wedding day, and Kiersten and Mike worked with the elements, caught some amazing shots and was still able to get the one picture I really wanted. Kiersten is truly magical. Girl - You were fantastic! You made my day amazing. From bustling my dress to taking shots with us and watching me color my gray hairs with a marker, you made everything personable and easy. Nothing was posed or anything. It was all natural. I couldn’t be more excited to see how things turned out!" - Jillian

They met at the Bass Pro Shops in Destin. Jillian's brother asked her to pick up a lure for him and Adam and just so happened to be in the same aisle. The rest is history.

We back the blue...especially when they say I DO!

Jillian and Adam were married in a gorgeous historic church in Pensacola. Built in 1832, The Old Christ Church is one of the oldest in the entire state of Florida as a matter of fact! “There’s just something special about saying your vows in a place where so many others have started their marriages, and The Lee House was beautiful and in stumbling distance of downtown and hotels. ” - Jillian

Adam and the groomsmen wore Men's Wearhouse. The beautiful bride wore Essence of Australia from the “I Do” Bridal and Formalwear in Mobile, Al. The bridesmaids all chose their own dresses from a color pallet of Jillian looked like a princess in her gown, it seemed like it was made just for her! With every curl perfected and nothing out of place, this bride was ready to walk down the runway...I mean aisle, but first, the first look!

"The most memorable thing about that entire day was the first look. Adam was absolutely emotional and so sweet. It makes me tear up just thinking about it. " Adam couldn’t hold back his emotions seeing his soon-to-be bride for the first time, and who could blame him?! The love these two share was overflowing! Jillian said "Adam lead the charge on all things Keg stands during the rehearsal and reception too." HAHA!

Due to one uninvited guest, Hurricane Nate, this blissful reception was moved inside to accommodate all the guests who didn’t want to chill with the wind and rain, but lemme tell you, Bridget Brown from Nancys Haute Affairs made that ish happen, and happen goooood! "The day of was crazy- a lot of rearranging from and indoor/outdoor reception to just an indoor reception. A lot of my family couldn’t make it due to the direct hit and path Hurricane Nate was taking through Mobile to Atlanta. (Go Figure)" So some advice for future brides on their day, Jillian said “no matter how long you plan or how much you work you put in, you can’t control the weather.. so just go with the flow! At the end of the day, you’ll be standing out on a balcony watching the storm roll in with your HUSBAND!”

Congratulations you two! Thank you for choosing me to be apart of your special day! And thank you for one of the most badass receptions, full of fun!! You guys were a blast!!! I would do it all over again!!! - xo
