Savannah + Austin, Hilton Pensacola Beach Florida Wedding
I was going to write a blog for Austin and Savannah's dream wedding at the Hilton in scenic Pensacola Beach, FL but Savannah did it all for me... so without any further waiting...
From the Bride:
Savannah says “Austin and I have a love story that isn’t as common these days, but we are high school sweethearts. He reached out to me over social media, and the rest is history! Just kidding. We went through a lot during the years we were together after high school simply because we were entering a whole new chapter of our lives together, but it was absolutely worth every second. We dated for four years, loving each other more and more every day before he popped the big question in the beautiful mountains of Gatlinburg, TN. After college, we settled into our careers, saved up some money, and planned our special day. When I began looking for venues, I knew what I wanted but didn’t know how to find it. Thankfully, I have the best mom in the world who took a lot of time looking for the right venue. Well, it’s no surprise she found the best one... Hilton Pensacola Beach. I knew that would be the spot I’d marry my best friend. Now, finding a photographer was a bigger priority than finding my dress if I’m being completely honest. It took months of searching for the perfect one, but when I came across Kiersten’s work, I knew I had found the perfect photographer. Surprise again, we got her! (Shout out to my amazing dad for making all of my wonderful “surprises” happen!) Kiersten truly exceeded our expectations. I liked her the moment I met her because she expressed how much she cared about everything I had to say and was ready to make it all happen. On top of her talent, hard work, and commitment to her work, I instantly felt like we had been friends for years. She and her second shooter made sure to capture all of the special moments while staying on top of everything and it meant a lot knowing I could rely on her throughout the whole day. Our ceremony was absolutely one for the books. Dave Culbreath, a close family friend, officiated our magical ceremony in front of the most amazing view God could give us as Austin and I exchanged our personally written vows. When it comes to our bridal party, we couldn’t be more thankful for the never-ending support; our bridal party played such a huge role in making our day memorable as we cheered to forever all night long. Each and every friend that stood beside us is a forever-friend, and we love all of you more than you know. The whole day was a dream come true, and I can’t thank Kiersten enough for all of her amazing work. For those of you planning your special day, know that pictures are what you’ll hold onto forever, and Kiersten will go all the limits to make sure she captures it perfectly for you. Enjoy every big moment, small moment, and all of the other moments between because it does go so fast! Austin and I couldn’t have asked for a better day as we became one.
